In these individuals, exposure to cold may trigger low energy, poor mood, muscular aches & pains, frequent urination and pronounced shivers and rigors.
Pilot Light supports a warm body, inside and out. Peekay’s Pilot Light supports the body’s resistance to cold temperatures and inclement weather, increases metabolism and tonifies the baseline Yang (warming) energy.
Peekay’s Pilot Light contains herbs that are warming, invigorating, spicy and energizing. These are generally regarded, in Traditional Chinese Medicine, as herbs that “tonify the Yang” and “warm the interior”. There are also herbs within Pilot Light that promote expansion and circulation of blood and Qi energy to help resist the contracting effects of extreme cold. And aLao herbs that soothe and anchor to help the body hold onto the invigorating warmth provided by the primary ingredients.*
Dosing Guidelines
- As low as 1 Teaspoon (5 droppers full / 5ml) per day for small and sensitive individuals.
- As high as 1 Tablespoon (15 droppers full / 15ml) per day for larger and robust individuals.
- Herbs can be taken at one time or dosed several times per day.
- Average dose is 2 Teaspoons (10 droppers full / 10ml) per day.
- Higher doses are used for acute and/or severe symptoms, lower doses are used for milder symptoms and/or longer term maintenance.
- These herbs are most often taken mixed with a cup of hot water (like a cup of tea), but they can also be mixed with cold water or taken as an undiluted shot!
